October Events at the Wheel

This month is packed with wellness activities and fun for all ages.




Oct. 17th Full Moon Drumming Ceremony.

This month's moon is called Ducks Fly Moon. The animal totem is the Raven. The Wheel opens at 7pm for socializing, snacks and getting settled. The ceremony starts at 7:30 pm. This offering is free but since seats are limited we request you reserve your seat. Drums, pillows and blankets are provided but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.







Oct. 26th: How to make and use a Smudge Fan

We are offering our popular smudging workshop. In this workshop you will learn how and why to smudge. You will create your very own fan that you can take with you to smudge at home. All material is provided for you. However if you have a stick or handle you would like to use you can bring that. If you are unsure of what kind of handle to use you can always reach out to us and we will give you some suggestions. This family friendly workshop starts at 10am and ends at 12pm. Cost is $45.






Oct. 26th; Sound Bath Under the Stars

This is our third offering in our Under the Stars series which showcases different healers and different practices. This month will feature Willow who combines the bowls with several south american traditions. Doors open at 730pm and the sound bath starts at 8pm. Mats, pillows and blankets are provided for you but you may use your own if you prefer.

This is also a fundraiser for the Wheel. Several high wind storms have caused damage to the tipis. Donations start at $10 and go to $25 and $50.







Oct. 27th; How to make and use a Smudge Fan

Can't make our first smudge fan workshop here is your chance to join us for a second offering of our well-received smudging workshop where you'll gain insight into the art of smudging and its significance. Craft your personalized fan during the session to enhance your smudging practice at home. All necessary materials will be supplied, but feel free to bring your preferred stick or handle. If you need guidance on selecting a handle, don't hesitate to contact us for recommendations. This workshop, suitable for all ages, commences at 1pm and concludes at 3pm, with a fee of $45.
